В последнее время участились разговоры о смерти каталожного ссылочного, репрессииях и банах каталогов, инфляции каталожного тИЦ-а и прочих ужасах.
Пара ремарок:
1) Господа, не зацикливайтесь на Яндексе 
Рамблер и Гугл[ы] никто не отменял, и каталоги для них эффективны как и раньше.
2) Складывается впечатление, что на фоне истерии все забыли о тематических каталогах. По моим наблюдениям, для большинства тематик наберется сотня-другая каталогов, с удовольствием разместивших ссылку на порядочный сайт.
3) Ссылкоторговцам – PR=3-4 делается с одной регистрации.

Полностью согласен с первым и третьим пунктом.
1) Google рулит, и будет рулить.
3) PR очень сильно зависит не сколько от «качества» прогона, сколько от тематики сайта.
Согласен со всеми положениями. Нельзя ограничиваться только Яндексом. Мир больше и разнообразнее.
2) Да бэков то может и 5 сотен, только индексируется намного меньше. Те же 200 всего. Из них тематических еще меньше. Это результаты разных регистраторов с разными базами. О 200 тематических бэках я даже не слышал.
3) Об этом слышал. Но результата не видел)
Нельзя не согласиться, только вот пункт №3 под большое поставлю под большое сомнение.
Если кто-нибудь даст контакт прогонщика, результат которого будет отвечать 3-ему пунтку, то «кому-нибудь» лично* вручу в руки приятный презент.
* Распрострняется только для Москвы и ближайшего подмосковья.

А регистрация помимо как 100-200 каталогах по своей тематике также и в 1000-2000 нетематических несет в себе риски?

Но ограничиваться одними каталожными беками я не советую
Pancake, я бы попробовал ))) Себе PR3 поднимал каталогами.
Подтверждаю, одними каталожными сайт поднимается до PR3. проверено на нескольких проектах.
Pr 3 реально сделать каталогами, но для этого надо прогнаться по ним 3-4 раза
